4 years agoWashington Football Team rookie running back Antonio Gibson (toe) logged his third straight limited practice on Friday and is questionable to suit up against the Panthers. Gibson hasn't played since going down with a turf-toe injury in Week 13. Washington will also be without top wide receiver Terry McLaurin (ankle), while quarterback Alex Smith (calf) is also listed as questionable, so if Gibson is deemed fit to play, he could have an expanded role in the offense. Gibson returning would put the final nail in the coffin for Peyton Barber being a deep-league fantasy relevant option and it would also downgrade J.D. McKissic as a fantasy option in this backfield.
