4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles defensive ends Derek Barnett (calf) and Josh Sweat (wrist) have both been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Cowboys. Barnett has been one of the most consistent commodities for the Eagles Defense this season, having compiled 34 total tackles to go along with 16 quarterback hits and 5.5 sacks. Sweat has been placed on injured reserve, which will end his regular season. There exists the possibility that he could return to the unit should they make the playoffs. Expect Genard Avery to see an increased role Sunday, but for the unit to get more creative in rushing the passer without either Barnett or Sweat. Philadelphia's defense did not hold much appeal coming into the week, and without either of the aforementioned d-ends, the Andy Dalton-led Cowboys are not worthy of targeting with streamer options.--Jesse Borek
