Darrel Williams Leads The Chiefs Backfield In Week 17
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams saw 69% of the backfield snaps with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle/hip) sidelined in Week 16. Many expected Le'Veon Bell to take over as the main back on Sunday, but it was Williams who saw most of the action. The running back was able to pick up 46 yards on 10 carries and he also caught four of his six targets for 27 yards. Edwards-Helaire is likely to remain sidelined in Week 17 and it looks like Williams will be the main running back for now. Williams is worth a waiver wire claim and he could see some more extended action with the Chiefs being able to rest many of their stars in Week 17 against the Chargers.
