Giovani Bernard Remains Productive In Week 16
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard logged 16 attempts during the win over the Houston Texans on Sunday, finishing with 65 yards. He also caught seven of his eight targets for 66 yards. After finding the end zone twice against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15, the veteran still had a productive day. While Bernard conceded carries to Samaje Perine, who had 13 for 95 yards and two touchdowns, he managed to make amends, primarily on the receiving end. While it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for Perine to remain involved as the primary ball carrier in the season finale against the Ravens, Bernard remains a serviceable option in all fantasy formats based on his previous few weeks of efficiency, especially in PPR formats.
