Dwayne Haskins Jr Struggles, Gets Benched Versus Panthers
4 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr turned the ball over three times and was benched early in the fourth quarter in a loss to the Panthers on Sunday. With starter Alex Smith (calf) ruled out before the game, Haskins made his second-straight start and completed 14 of 28 passes for 154 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Taylor Heinicke took over in the fourth quarter and led the team on a touchdown drive. After the game head coach Ron Rivera was non-committal on a starter for Week 17. Haskins, on the other hand, left without speaking to the media adding to the list of questions regarding his maturity after he violated COVID-19 protocols earlier in the week. Any fantasy managers hanging onto Haskins in dynasty leagues can cut the cord on the former first-rounder.
