4 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Taylor Heinicke went 12-for-19 passing for 137 yards and a touchdown in a loss to Carolina on Sunday. It was Heinicke's first NFL action since 2018 with the Panthers. Heinicke was active because starter Alex Smith (calf) was ruled out before the game. After the game, head coach Ron Rivera was non-committal on a starter for Week 17 if Smith is still out. Heinicke is not on the fantasy radar even if he winds up starting next week in Washington's second attempt to lock up the NFC East.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
