Denver Undecided On Bradley Chubb’s Week 17 Status
4 years agoDenver Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb (ankle) was unable to play in Week 16 due to an ankle injury, with head coach Vic Fangio acknowledging Monday that the Broncos Defense may once again be without Chubb for the season finale versus Las Vegas. While Fangio was "hopeful" about getting Chubb back, he did admit that his status was uncertain. Having made the Pro Bowl for the first time this season, Chubb has made 42 combined tackles, having added 19 quarterback hits and 7.5 sacks. Anthony Chickillo would likely be in line for an increased role once again should the Broncos remain short-handed. Denver is likely an avoidable unit during Week 17, especially if Chubb is ultimately deemed unavailable.
