Cooper Kupp Lands On COVID-19 List
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list as of Tuesday, putting his status for Sunday's contest versus Arizona up in the air. Players do not need to test positive for the virus to be placed on the list. With Kupp being the only Ram placed on the list, it appears as if it could be an isolated incident, albeit one that will likely keep Kupp's status from being determined until later in the week. Los Angeles will already be short-handed in its must-win scenario with quarterback John Wolford making his first NFL start in place of Jared Goff (thumb). An absence from Kupp would allow Robert Woods, Josh Reynolds and rookie Van Jefferson to see larger roles in the passing game, but they'd all be extremely hard to trust in fantasy with Wolford starting. Even if he is ultimately cleared, Kupp won't hold his traditional fantasy appeal due to Wolford's inexperience under center. Check back throughout the week for updates as they become available.
