4 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift could be in line for a heavy volume of touches in Week 17. The Lions are limping to the finish line and quarterback Matthew Stafford (ankle/thumb/ribs) is a 50/50 to play this Sunday. If backup Chase Daniel is under center, the Lions could lean heavily on Swift to move the chains. He will go up against a Vikings Defense that is allowing the 17th fewest fantasy points to opposing backs but have been gashed the past two weeks. The Bears David Montgomery posted 146 rushing yards against the Vikings in Week 15 and the Saints Alvin Kamara gashed them for 155 yards with six touchdowns on Christmas Day. The Vikings have allowed 10 touchdowns to running backs since Week 13 and the rookie has nine total touchdowns on the season. Swift will be an intriguing RB1/2 in the final game of the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
