4 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick (COVID-19) has tested positive for the virus and is out for Week 17 against the Bills. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero also reports that no other Dolphins- including Tua Tagovailoa- are considered close contacts of Fitzpatrick's as of right now. Fortunately, it appears that the Dolphins avoided a Broncos-QB situation, though losing Fitzpatrick hurts after he relieved a struggling Tagovailoa and led the team to victory last week. Miami will have to hope that Tagovailoa can put together a steady performance, as they'll be without their safety valve in Week 17.--Tim Capurso
