4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton is expected to make the start against the New York Jets in Week 17. The veteran quarterback was benched last week in favor of Jarrett Stidham. Newton completed five of 10 passing attempts for 34 yards before exiting the game. Honestly, it appears Newton's arm strength is completely shot right now, but Stidham is still a worse option. This is most likely Newton's last game in New England and possibly the last of his career. Newton has been held to under 100 passing yards in three of the last five games. He'll be a QB2 against the bottom-five secondary of the Jets.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
