Wayne Gallman Rushes For 65 Yards In Week 17
4 years agoNew York Giants running back Wayne Gallman handled 11 carries for 65 yards in a win over the Cowboys on Sunday. Gallman was not targeted in the passing game. The story of this game for Gallman will be a fumble late in the game that almost cost New York, but Gallman safely fell on the ball. On the season, Gallman rushed 136 times for 617 yards (4.5 yards-per-carry) with six touchdowns. All of his scores came after taking over as the lead-back thanks to injuries to Saquon Barkley (knee) and Devonta Freeman (ankle). Gallman is a nice fill-in back for the Giants, but his fantasy stock is tied to getting a large number of carries. Something that won't happen in New York when Barkley is healthy.
