4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game versus Kansas City due to a concussion that he sustained earlier in the contest. Ekeler's season has been derailed by injuries, with his final game of the year even being cut short. Prior to his departure, Ekeler racked up 18 yards on the ground over seven carries and hauled in six passes for 33 receiving yards and a touchdown. Kalen Ballage and Justin Jackson can be expected to split carries in Ekeler's absence. He finishes the year having accounted for three touchdowns over 10 games.--Jesse Borek
