4 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said following Sunday's win over the Cardinals which clinched his team a spot in the playoffs that he is "not sure" about quarterback Jared Goff's (thumb) chance of returning for the opening round. John Wolford stepped in to make his first career start in place of Goff and went 22-for-38 with 231 yards passing to go along with one interception. The Rams will travel to face the Seahawks for their first postseason game next weekend, a defense that Goff has not thrown a touchdown pass against in two prior meetings this year. Check back throughout the week to get a clearer picture of whether Goff will be able to suit up so soon after undergoing thumb surgery.--Jesse Borek
