4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (COVID-19 list) has the potential to suit up for the team's Wild Card matchup versus the Bears next Sunday after the team drew a later weekend kick-off slot. Kamara, who tested positive for the virus earlier in the week, would still need to pass through the league's protocols before returning off of the COVID-19/reserve list. His positive test caused the Saints' backfield to be held out of the team's Week 17 win, which allowed Ty Montgomery to become a significant fantasy asset. Whereas other members of New Orleans' backfield have not been confirmed to be positive for the virus, Kamara faces the uphill battle of multiple negative tests before he can take the field again.
