Antonio Gibson Rushes For 75 Yards In Division-Clinching Win
4 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson rushed 19 times for 75 yards and caught his lone target for six yards in a win over the Eagles on Sunday. Gibson was questionable with a toe injury but received his normal workload with 20 touches in a run-heavy game script. Gibson wraps up a nice rookie season with 170 carries for 795 yards (4.7 yards-per-carry) in 14 games while leading all rookies with 11 rushing touchdowns. It'd be nice for his long-term fantasy value to be featured in the passing game more, but for now J.D. McKissic has that role in Washington. Gibson will face a tough matchup in the Wild Card round versus a stout Buccaneers run defense.
