4 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney (ankle) did not participate in practice on Thursday. Mooney enjoyed his best game as a pro last week, catching a career-high 11 passes for 93 yards but failed to finish the game after injuring the ankle on a big hit. The rookie has emerged as one of the more consistent contributors in an up-and-down Bears offense this season and they will need his speed to compete with the Saints during Wild Card Weekend. If Mooney suits up he will, however, be a dicey call from a fantasy perspective as the Saints are allowing the 16th fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers. Mooney caught five passes for 69 yards with one touchdown against the Saints in Week 8 and his status may have to monitored all the way up to game-time on Sunday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
