Terry McLaurin Questionable For Wild-Card Round
4 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin (ankle) is officially questionable for Saturday's playoff game against the Buccaneers. McLaurin fought through an ankle injury in Washington's Week 17 win over the Eagles, catching seven of eight targets for 40 yards and a touchdown. On the season, McLaurin caught 87 passes for 1,118 yards and four touchdowns establishing himself as a top-wideout in just his second NFL season. McLaurin slowed down towards the end of the year as the offense was more conservative with Alex Smith under center. Assuming Smith (calf) starts, McLaurin has a lower ceiling than normal playing through an injury with fewer downfield targets. He's a boom-or-bust WR option against a good Tampa defense.
