Antonio Gibson Quiet In Playoff Loss
4 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson rushed 14 times for 31 yards in a wild-card round loss to the Buccaneers. Gibson added two catches for four receiving yards. Gibson's 2.2 yards-per-carry was his lowest of the season as there were no running lanes against a stout Tampa run defense. The future remains bright for the former Memphis wide receiver as Gibson impressed in his rookie year. His 11 touchdowns led all rookie running backs and he put up 1,042 total yard while working as part of a time-share with J.D. McKissic and Peyton Barber. Gibson is the future at running back in Washington and will be an early-round selection in 2021 drafts.
