Washington Defense Records Three Sacks In Playoff Loss
4 years agoThe Washington Football Team defense recorded three sacks, but couldn't slow down Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in a wild-card round loss. Tampa Bay had over 500 yards of total offense and put up 31 points, a number that could've easily been worse if not for a couple of goal-to-go stops to force field goal attempts. The positive spin for Washington was the play of their defensive line. Daron Payne had two sacks and Montez Sweat added one as the former-first rounders shape the core of a talented, young defensive line. Throw in defensive rookie of the year candidate Chase Young and Washington has the core of a solid unit for fantasy.
