Cam Sims Leads Washington In Receiving Versus Bucs
4 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Cam Sims led Washington with seven catches for 104 yards in a loss to the Buccaneers in the wild-card round. Sims was targeted a season-high 13 times by Taylor Heinicke who started for Alex Smith (calf). Sims certainly made a name for himself on the playoff stage, but the 100-yard performance was just his second of the season. Sims primarily runs downfield routes so he's a boom-or-bust option in fantasy with a 14.9 yards-per-catch average and only one touchdown. Washington will certainly address their receiving depth this offseason so making Sims only a deep-league option in non-PPR formats.
