James Conner Scores In Playoff Loss
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner carried the ball 11 times for 37 yards and a touchdown in a 48-37 loss to the Cleveland Browns in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Conner also tacked on 30 yards on five receptions in the loss. With Pittsburgh's season now over, the veteran running back heads into the offseason as an unrestricted free agent. Many on-lookers feel that it is unlikely that he will be back with the team, as Pittsburgh has plenty of salary cap issues heading into the offseason. After working as the lead back in Pittsburgh, Conner will probably have to settle for a job as part of a committee heading into 2021. His landing spot will determine his fantasy value, but he's going to be hard to trust as much more than an RB3 next season if he's sharing touches in another backfield.
