4 years agoNew York Islanders goaltender Semyon Varlamov recorded his second consecutive shutout to begin the season in Monday's 1-0 victory against the Bruins. The 32-year-old was coming off of a sharp performance to open the season and he carried over the shutout streak with 27 saves in the latest contest. Varlamov is a quality option across all fantasy formats and the veteran netminder will continue to be relied upon heavily as rookie goaltender Ilya Sorokin gets adjusted to the NHL level. --Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
