4 years agoJoanne Calderwood (15-5) was in dire need of a big win Saturday and got just that by defeating Jessica Eye via unanimous decision. Through 15 minutes of action, Calderwood collected 148 significant strikes (214 total strikes) along with landing one of her three attempted takedowns. Already a potential title challenger, a win against someone of Eye's caliber gets her right back into title talks. Fantasy wise, though, it might make for a tougher decision to start or sit her in the future.
