4 years agoDallas Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger will get his first career start on Thursday when the team will host Detroit. The 22-year-old had a couple of relief performances during last year's playoffs, saving all eight shots, so he has got some experience in the league, but it's very marginal. With that said, it's a good matchup for him to get the first start out of the way, as the Red Wings are battling COVID and they have dropped four of their last five games. They are also winless in their last five visits to Dallas and they have managed only two wins in the past eight meetings overall.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
