4 years agoDallas Stars forward Jamie Benn (lower body) has been placed on the Injured Reserve, retroactive to Jan. 22, the team announced. The Stars captain hasn't played since getting injured in the team's season-opener last Friday. He was a game-time decision on Tuesday against the Red Wings, so it seems like whatever is bothering Benn isn't a long-term issue and he should be back soon. Blake Comeau appeared in Thursday's optional morning skate, so he seems to be on his way back as well, but he will remain out on Thursday due to the league's COVID-19 protocols. Roope Hintz (lower body) is a game-time decision for the rematch with Detroit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
