Cubs Reach A Deal With Joc Pederson
4 years agoThe Chicago Cubs have reached an agreement with free-agent outfielder Joc Pederson. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic was the first to report the agreement between the lefty slugger and his new club. Pederson is likely to slide into Kyle Schwarber's former role in left field. The slugger struggled in 2020 with just seven home runs, 16 RBI and a .190 batting average to go along with a weak .681 OPS. Pederson has shown his ability to hit for power in the past and will be a buy-low option for fantasy managers looking for a cheap source of power late in their drafts.
