Jacob Markstrom Shuts Down Montreal on Saturday
4 years agoCalgary Flames netminder Jacob Markstrom shutout the Montreal Canadiens 3-0 on Saturday night. Markstrom and the Flames handed the Habs their first regulation loss of the season. The Swedish native faced 37 shots and stopped them all to record his second shutout this year. He now has a record of 3-2-1 with a goals-against-average of 2.18 and a save percentage of .929. The former Vancouver Canucks goalie is fairly reliable between the pipes. He often will provide the needed success to help DFS managers lineups. The Flames are off on Sunday and will face Winnipeg on Monday.
