4 years agoMontreal Canadiens defenseman Alexander Romanov will be back in the lineup on Thursday against Ottawa. The highly-rated Russian missed Tuesday's 5-3 win over Vancouver, but now gets another chance with Victor Mete getting scratched. Romanov skates on the third pairing and sees action on the second power-play unit. He has earned plenty of praise for his play and has two points, 20 shots, six penalty minutes, and a plus-four rating through his first nine career games. The Senators are giving up a league-high 4.80 goals per game, so Romanov will be in a nice spot to return with a bang.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
