4 years agoNashville Predators forward Matt Duchene notched his first goals of the season on Thursday, potting a pair in a 6-5 overtime win against Florida. Duchene made it 3-3 during the second period and then scored another game-tying goal on a power-play to make it 5-5 with just over four minutes to go in regulation. He had four total efforts on goal in the game and delivered three hits. Duchene has been very quiet through the start of the season, as he only had three points in nine games ahead of Thursday's action, but maybe this will get him going now.
