4 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Vladislav Namestnikov scored the team's lone goal in Friday's 3-1 loss to Tampa. Filip Zadina and Jon Merrill had the assists on the goal. Namestnikov fired off four shots in total, adding two hits and two blocks. The Russian forward has only three points for the season, but he is centering the second power-play unit and should improve his numbers once the Red Wings sort out their power play, which is currently among the worst in the league with a 10 percent efficiency. He also has a couple of favorable matchups next against the Panthers, who can't keep the puck out of their net and allow nearly three goals per game (2.75).--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
