He joins the legendary Ray Bourque as the only blueliners in the last 35 years who have managed an eight-plus game point-streak for the B's. McAvoy added four shots on Wednesday with three blocks and two hits in a team-high 25:04 of ice time. The 23-year-old has really elevated his game in 2020-21, becoming one of the league's most productive defensemen.
