Austin Dillon Is Risky Daytona Play
4 years agoRichard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon will start fourth in Sunday's Daytona 500. And while Dillon won this race in 2018, the fact that he starts so close to the front at a superspeedway track makes him a risky DFS option. Dillon has finished outside of the top 10 in four consecutive races at Daytona International Speedway, with just one lead-lap finish in that span. At a track as unpredictable as Daytona, starting a driver with a top-five starting spot could spell fantasy doom if that driver gets involved in a major accident, as the negative place differential points will be hard to make up even if the rest of your lineup performs well.
