Erik Jones Offers Great DFS Upside At Daytona Despite An Engine Change
4 years agoA driver that will be one of the best bargain values of the week is Erik Jones of Richard Petty Motorsports. In eight starts at Daytona, the driver of the No. 43 Chevrolet has one win, three top-10 finishes, and led laps in four Cup Series starts. Since 2018 at superspeedway tracks like Daytona and Talladega, Jones has six finishes with positive place differential and five top-10 finishes. The original starting position for Jones is 31st, but he will start from the rear of the field in the Daytona 500 due to an engine change. This setback will not affect his upside however as his equipment is good enough to challenge for a top-20 finish with a chance for placing in the Top 15. Jones must be greatly considered for all lineups based on his upside, especially for FanDuel lineups where his salary allows cap flexibility.
