4 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs will try to re-sign wide receiver Sammy Watkins this offseason, according to Adam Teicher of ESPN. Watkins is coming off his worst NFL season, as injuries limited him to 10 games. He caught 37 passes for 421 yards and two touchdowns. His 42.1 yards per game was the second-lowest number of his career. It's hard to believe Watkins has now played seven NFL seasons and also hard to believe the Chiefs would be thrilled to bring him back as their No. 2 receiver. But with Mecole Hardman not looking like a No. 2 guy, it might be better to keep a solid player like Watkins instead of worrying about free agency and the draft.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
