4 years agoTampa Bay Lightning right wing Alexander Volkov scored half of the team's goals in Monday's 6-4 loss to Florida. The 23-year-old Russian now has three goals and five points for the year in nine games. Volkov has been very productive for a depth piece, especially considering that he is averaging fewer than 10 minutes per night. He logged only 9:27 on Monday but managed to score with both of his shots. Volkov's lack of minutes makes him a no-go in fantasy hockey, but he's clearly got some talent, and we should see him in a bigger role in the future.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
