Chase Briscoe An Intriguing Option For Daytona Road Course
4 years agoNASCAR Cup Series rookie Chase Briscoe is set to make just the second start of his career on Sunday when the series runs the O'Reilly Auto Parts 253 at the Daytona road course, but the Stewart Haas driver should be considered a strong DFS play. Briscoe won nine Xfinity races last season, including one road course race. In the Xfinity race here at Daytona last season, Briscoe finished 29th after crashing out, but did lead a race-high 26 laps. He knows how to wheel a car around this track. Starting 18th, Briscoe has some solid place differential upside if he can take a car with top-10 speed and actually place it into the top 10.
