4 years agoThe Chicago Cubs and veteran outfielder Cameron Maybin have agreed to terms on a minor league contract on Friday. The deal includes an invitation to spring training. The speedy outfielder hit .247 and stole three bases between the Detroit Tigers and Cubs this past season. Maybin will be competing for a backup job for the Cubs, and outside of speed he doesn't offer much value in mixed season-long leagues as outfield depth.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
