Fantasy Basketball Category Streamers - Week 10

Week 10 will likely be known as the week of back-to-backs as a total of 21 teams are playing in a back-to-back set this week. Beware of older and/or banged up players who may sit at any point this week. The Memphis Grizzlies surprisingly sat players on Saturday to rest so no team is safe.

The Washington Wizards, after all those postponed games, are getting caught up here with a five-game week and have two back-to-back sets in this week alone. On the flip side, the San Antonio Spurs are still dealing with the aftermath of their COVID-19 outbreak and have just two games this week, so far. There is still a possibility they get more games postponed as we have no information on which players tested positive.

Our staff at RotoBaller has great insight and daily columns on how to improve your squad and tips to make your team successful, so be sure to check them out! Now, let's get prepared for the upcoming week. All players in this article are rostered at 50 percent or less.

Editor's Note: Our incredible team of writers received five total writing awards and 13 award nominations by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association, tops in the industry! Week 10 Standard 9-Category Leagues

Columns are written based on H2H 9-category standard size leagues:

FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE

Isaiah Roby - PF/C - Oklahoma City Thunder (7% rostered)

Roby is on my watch list as a second half breakout player with the trade rumors surrounding Oklahoma City's roster, but for now, he's been serviceable in a bench role this season. The Thunder enter the week on the second half of a back-to-back and then have another back-to-back later on to cap off a four-game week. Al Horford (rest) should miss two games this week which would give Roby two spot starts. As a starter this season, Roby averages 12.6 points on 51.2 percent from the field, 6.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 steals in 26.9 minutes per start.

FREE THROW PERCENTAGE

Immanuel Quickley - PG - New York Knicks (30% rostered)

I have to feature Quickley again with the Knicks entering a four-game week. Although the arrival of Derrick Rose complicates things for Quickley's long-term value, he still holds great value in free throw percentage. Quickley has not missed a free throw in the past seven games, bringing his season average up to an incredible 95.0 percent on 3.1 attempts per game. The Knicks also play three games from Thursday to Sunday, with Thursday being a good streaming day. That is massive value to help anchor your percentage and steal away a win in this category.

Other streamers:

  • Josh Richardson - SG/SF - Dallas Mavericks (43% rostered)
  • Jeremy Lamb - SG/SF - Indiana Pacers (38% rostered)
  • Ivica Zubac - C - Los Angeles Clippers (37% rostered)
  • Jalen Brunson - PG/SG - Dallas Mavericks (5% rostered)

POINTS

Kendrick Nunn - PG/SG - Miami Heat (43% rostered)

Nunn has been heating up the past two weeks in the absence of Goran Dragic (ankle). In 10 games as a starter this season, Nunn is averaging 16.1 points on 47.7 percent shooting from the field and 3.0 three-pointers on 42.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc. Dragic does not have a concrete timetable right now and the Heat play four games this week. Nunn may be scooped up in your league given his recent play, but points should be easier to come by on your wire.

Other streamers:

THREE-POINTERS

Garrett Temple - PG/SG - Chicago Bulls (8% rostered)

Temple has somehow carved out a starting role with the Bulls as they continue to be hampered by injuries. Temple has played at least 30 minutes in six straight games and has knocked down at least one three pointer in each of those contests, including three multi-three games. Temple is also one of the more rounded three-point streamers as he is picking up peripheral stats and has shot at least 50.0 percent in each of those six games. The Bulls play four games this week and end with a back-to-back entering week 5.

Other streamers:

  • Marcus Morris - PF/C - Los Angeles Clippers (48% rostered)
  • Jae Crowder - SF/PF - Phoenix Suns (43% rostered)
  • Maxi Kleber - PF/C - Dallas Mavericks (11% rostered)
  • Mike Muscala - PF/C - Oklahoma City Thunder (2% rostered)

REBOUNDS

Robin Lopez - C - Washington Wizards (8% rostered)

The Wizards center situation is a mess right now and lacks real consistency, but Lopez has been outplaying starter Moritz Wagner and getting more minutes. The Wizards seem to utilize Lopez more due to match-ups despite the offensive upside of Wagner. It seems to be working as Washington has won four straight games and enters the coveted five-game week in week 10. Lopez is coming off an 10-point, 11-rebound performance in 28 minutes compared to Wagner's 11 minutes. This sort of time split should continue this week with the Wizards facing bigger teams in the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets in the early portion of the week.

Other streamers:

  • Jae'sean Tate - SG - Houston Rockets (26% rostered)
  • Patrick Williams - SF/PF - Chicago Bulls (18% rostered)
  • Maxi Kleber - PF/C - Dallas Mavericks (11% rostered)
  • Isaiah Roby - PF/C - Oklahoma City  Thunder (7% rostered)

ASSISTS

Raul Neto - PG/SG - Washington Wizards (1% rostered)

The Wizards theme continues with Neto here, given he is the backup point guard with Ish Smith (quad) out for the next few weeks. Neto is not the typical pass-first guard, averaging just 1.7 assists on the year, but that average bumps up to 3.0 as a starter this season. The Wizards have two back-to-backs this week which could lead to some absences for Russell Westbrook (rest candidate). Westbrook did play the last back-to-back set, so managers will want to double check before deploying Neto in daily leagues.

Other streamers:

STEALS

Theo Maledon - PG - Oklahoma City Thunder (13% rostered)

Maledon finally returned last week after a lengthy absence due to the league's health and safety protocols. Maledon put up modest stats with 8.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 three-pointers over the past three games. However, Maledon also put up 1.3 steals per game and is locked into a 30+ minutes per game role with George Hill (wrist) still out for a couple more weeks. The Thunder have four games this week including two back-to-back sets and Maledon would get even more run if Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (knee) is rested in those sets.

Other streamers:

  • T.J. McConnell - PG/SG - Indiana Pacers (39% rostered)
  • Matisse Thybulle - SG/SF - Philadelphia 76ers (9% rostered)
  • Garrett Temple - PG/SG - Chicago Bulls (8% rostered)
  • Jordan McLaughlin - PG/SG - Minnesota Timberwolves (3% rostered)

BLOCKS

Robert Williams III - C - Boston Celtics (14% rostered)

Williams has burned me before, but has found his groove again as a per-minute monster after recovering from COVID-19 and a hip injury. Williams has blocked seven total shots over his past four games, coming off a four-block performance on Friday. The Celtics play four games this week including a Tuesday/Wednesday back-to-back set which could leave Williams for more opportunity. Tristan Thompson (rest candidate) has been rested in the past and Daniel Theis (finger) just came back from a two-game absence so he may sit as well. Regardless, Williams is averaging 1.3 blocks in just 15 minutes per game this season so he should be good to help in this category.

Other streamers:

Advertising
  • Marc Gasol - C - Los Angeles Lakers (22% rostered)
  • Derrick Jones Jr. - SF/PF - Portland Trail Blazers (12% rostered)
  • Matisse Thybulle - SG/SF - Philadelphia 76ers (9% rostered)
  • Jaden McDaniels - PF - Minnesota Timberwolves (4% rostered)

TURNOVERS

Dorian Finney-Smith - SF/PF - Dallas Mavericks (10% rostered)

Finney-Smith is not one of those flashy players, but he has provided very solid fantasy production this year, especially in the past two weeks. Despite the recent postponements due to weather, Finney-Smith is the 51st-ranked player in 9-category leagues over the past two weeks and gets a four-game week coming up. Finney-Smith does it all with threes, rebounds, defensive stats and does not hurt you in turnovers, averaging just 0.6 per game this season.

Other streamers:

  • Jae Crowder - SF/PF - Phoenix Suns (43% rostered)
  • Derrick Favors - PF/C - Utah Jazz (10% rostered)
  • David Nwaba - SG/SF - Houston Rockets (3% rostered)
  • Raul Neto - PG/SG - Washington Wizards (1% rostered)
