Pekka Rinne Shuts Down Red Wings
4 years agoNashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne shut out the Detroit Red Wings 2-0 on Tuesday in Detroit. Rinne recorded his 59th career shut out, moving into 19th place on the league's all-time list. The 38-year-old veteran has been splitting time with Juuse Saros. Despite Nashville's struggles, Rinne has a respectable record of 5-5-0, a goals-against-average of 2.36, and a save percentage of .916. Nashville again will play Detroit at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday.
