Edwin Rios Expected To See More Playing Time In 2021
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Edwin Rios will not be an everyday player in 2021 with the newly re-signed Justin Turner back in the fold. Nevertheless, Rios has serious sleeper upside, as the Dodgers will try to preserve the health of the 36-year-old Turner. Rios slashed .250/.301/.645 with eight homers and 17 RBI across 76 at-bats in 2020. He also belted 31 HRs at Triple-A Oklahoma during 2019, showing off a legitimate power stroke. If Rios can get at least 250 at-bats in 2021, he will have end-of-roster value in standard leagues. If he ever gets an everyday role, he is a must-own asset with exposure to that loaded Dodgers' lineup.
