4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Mickey Moniak shouldn't be ruled out for the starting job in center field with manager Joe Girardi saying, "I think if you're in camp, you're in the mix," according to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki. The starting center field job in Philadelphia is wide open with Adam Haseley, Roman Quinn, Scott Kingery, and even Odubel Herrera expected to get an opportunity. If Moniak performers well in Spring Training, however, it sounds like Girardi would give the 22-year-old a shot. The number-one overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft, Moniak made his debut last September to mixed-results. In Double-A in 2019, Moniak hit 11 homers and stole 15 bases so he offers solid upside in fantasy when he does get the call to the Majors.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
