4 years agoSeattle Mariners reliever Will Vest made a strong impression in his first game action of the spring, setting down three Padres in order, including two strikeouts. Vest, added as a Rule 5 pick from the Tigers system in December, is a candidate for a remade Seattle bullpen. The right-hander has big strikeout potential, sporting a fastball that can reach the upper 90s and a strong changeup to go with it.
