Nick Margevicius Off To A Strong Start
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Nick Margevicius had a strong spring debut Saturday, pitching two hitless innings against the Athletics. Entering the game in relief of fellow starter Justin Dunn, Margevicius walked one and struck out one. After coming to Seattle in 2020, Margevicius put up a 4.57 ERA with 7.84 strikeouts per nine innings in 10 games for the Mariners, including seven starts. If Margevicius can't beat out Dunn for the final spot in the rotation, he seems destined for Triple-A. Either way, it's a long shot that Margevicius will be fantasy relevant to start the season.
