4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler struggled in his outing on Sunday against the Rangers. Buehler worked three innings, allowing five hits and four runs, including two long-balls. The 26-year-old attempted to pitch exclusively from the stretch to get his mechanics going, though it didn't yield the most positive results. Fortunately, Buehler's velocity on his fastball was a couple of ticks higher than in his first outing, as he told reporters that he thinks it's more about "refining everything." Buehler has plenty of time to figure things out, with his unusually early start to the spring hopefully helping him to produce statistics similar or even greater to his 2019 season- when he registered a 3.26 ERA in 182 1/3 innings while fanning 215 batters.--Tim Capurso
