Mike Soroka Tosses Two Scoreless During Sim Game
4 years agoAtlanta Braves right-handed pitcher Mike Soroka (Achilles) worked two innings during a simulated game Sunday, not allowing a run in his first ramp up toward game action. Working his way back from a torn right Achilles tendon, Soroka's availability for Opening Day remains unclear. Despite looking solid in three appearances during 2020, fantasy managers can use Soroka's 2019 performance -- 2.68 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, .303 xwOBA -- as a true barometer of where to gauge him. When healthy, Soroka will be a stalwart of the Braves' rotation. Check back for updates on his spring performance as his availability should become clearer as March progresses.
