Kenyan Drake, Haason Reddick Set To Become Free Agents
4 years agoRunning back Kenyan Drake and linebacker Haason Reddick both did not have the franchise tag utilized on them by the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday, paving the way for the duo to become free agents. The decision on Reddick is hardly a surprise after the investment that the front office made in bringing J.J. Watt aboard. Reddick played in all 64 regular-season games for Arizona since having been the No. 13 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, recording a career-high 12.5 sacks this past season. Drake is also coming off a career year, one in which he racked up 955 yards and 10 scores on the ground. Should Drake ultimately sign elsewhere, Chase Edmonds stands to take over RB1 duties for the Cardinals come 2021, which would skyrocket him up season-long Draft boards.
