4 years agoBaltimore Orioles pitching prospect Dean Kremer did not allow a run over three innings against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday. The right-hander struggled a bit with his command but allowed just one hit and one walk. It was a much better result than his first appearance of the spring that saw him allow three runs on three hits and two walks over 1.2 innings. On Tuesday, his fastball was mainly 93-95 mph but it touched 97 mph. If Kremer can find the strike zone consistently, he has a chance to realize his potential as a mid-rotation starter for the Orioles starting in 2021. In his first taste of the MLB in 2020, Kremer struck out 22 batters in 18.2 innings and did not allow a homer.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
