4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Jonathan Davis went 2-for-2 with a walk on Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles. The 28-year-old's improved offensive approach could help the club in the event that Randal Grichuk, who has become expendable with the addition of George Springer, is traded for pitching help. Davis was already popular among Toronto coaches for his ability to run well and play strong defense. So far this spring, he's 5-for-11 with a BB-K of 2-1 and a stolen base. He's making improved contact in 2021 after spending most of the 2020 season at the alternate training site. In parts of three seasons with the Jays, Davis has appeared in 70 games.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
