4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Mitch Keller struggled in his second start of Spring Training, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks while striking out two over two innings against the Orioles. Keller has now allowed four runs on five hits and two walks through three innings this spring with three strikeouts. Once the top pitching prospect in the Pirates organization, Keller has been less than impressive across two seasons in the majors where he sports a career 5.81 ERA and 1.651 WHIP over 69.2 innings. Until he can show success on a regular basis, Keller is at best a matchup-dependent streaming option with good strikeout upside.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
